Tivo
I took some birthday money and bought a Tivo. You must get one. I don’t know how life existed before Tivo… and I don’t even watch that much tv!
The Extroverted Introvert
I was at a party last Friday and a friend of mine, Parker, had what I thought to be an extraordinarily accurate commentary on the social difference between my roommate and I.
My roommate, Joel, is what we’d call a type A personality. An extrovert. While I can sometimes have type A tendencies, I would definitely place myself squarely in the Type B column. An introvert.
The difference according to Parker was that at a party by the end of the night, Joel would have talked to everyone there in a life of the party kind of way. Everyone would know he’s there, and have seen him talking to everyone else. On the other hand, at the end of the same party I would also have talked to everyone there, but one at a time, and unbeknownst to everyone else.
I thought the analogy was really cool because it accurately portrayed my flying under the radar and being truly the extroverted introvert.
