The last time I wrote anything of substance on here was August… Quite frankly it’s been on purpose. Half because of a busy schedule, and half because I’ve felt like I just didn’t have anything to say. I hope this isn’t a sign that the blog is fading away, but the fact that I’m writing this is probably encouraging. The lack of frequent postings has run off just about everyone with the exception of the random visitor, and the truly bored. I like that. I’ve said it before - I never intended to create this for anyone else, though I always appreciate the company. That and I figure I couldn’t bring myself to write in some sort of pink diary with a lock on it.
I went down to Auburn this past weekend for the Auburn - Georgia game. Funny how things change as you get older. I used to read every article I could find on the team, and I knew most players by their number. These days I don’t read any articles, and I’d be hard pressed to name more than a handful of Auburn players without phoning a friend. The good news though is that there are still only a few things better in this world than being in Auburn on a Saturday in the fall. This last Saturday in particular we lost, but I couldn’t have otherwise enjoyed myself more. Good friends, good food, good times. (by the way… beware Alabama - the Iron Bowl won’t be a cake walk!)
I’m not convinced that I still have much to say… but I’ll be on the lookout.
Blogging can be tiring. Dry spells are natural. Sometimes even a man of words such as yourself has nothing to say.
